Editors from livability.com and data scientists have worked together to create their annual ranking of the “Top 100 Best Places to Live in America” for 2019 and Tampa has made the list.

After not making the list in 2018, Tampa ranked #12 this year

More than 1,000 cities were examined based on economics, housing, amenities, infrastructure, demographics, social and civic capital, education, and health care. Affordability was also a key factor in deciding where to live according to a survey taken by 1,000 millennials.

Tampa received high ratings in economics and amenities categories with livability saying, “whether it’s popping into a museum for the afternoon or biking through a nature preserve, there’s no shortage of interesting (and affordable) things for Tampa residents to do.”
