Tampa Police have identified the body of a woman found on Friday as a woman who has been missing since Jan. 8.

Police say on March 15 at around 11:30 a.m. FWC discovered a body located at the Water Taxi Dock on the Hillsborough River. Tampa Police recovered the body and have announced today the body is that of Deborah Saucier.

Saucier’s family last saw her on the morning of January 8 leaving her home. Her vehicle was found abandoned near Julian B Lane Park in the 1000 block North Boulevard. She was considered missing and endangered due to medical conditions that required medication.

The investigation determined that she had been at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino the day she was last seen.

Since she was reported missing, detectives worked with Ms. Saucier’s family and searched for video in the area where her car was abandoned. At this time several questions remain unanswered, including how Ms. Saucier ended up in the Hillsborough River. At this time there are no signs of foul play.
