Tampa man wins $1M from scratch-off ticket

TAMPA (WFLA) -The Florida Lottery has announced that a 64-year-old Tampa man won $1 million from playing a $5 scratch-off game.

Michael Barnes played the $1,000,000 LUCK Scratch-Off game he bought at the Pick N Pay in Tampa.

Barnes chose to take a lump-sum payment of $700,000. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off ticket.
