Tampa police say they caught a man stealing from a home on Harbour Island Thursday morning and now believe he’s connected to more break-ins.
Nicholas Corry, 28, is seen smiling in his mug shot after Tampa police arrested him at a home Harbour Island.
Police were already on the island investigating a burglary when someone living in the area saw a suspicious person in their backyard.
Officers rushed over to the home and say they caught Corry in the act with several stolen items.
According to jail records, the incident happened in an area behind the security gates on the island.
Corry is currently charged with grand theft and burglarizing at least two homes.
More charges could be on the way, according to police.
