Suspect wearing red mittens breaks glass at Hillsborough AT&T store in attempted burglary

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – A man wearing red mittens broke the exterior glass at a Hillsborough AT&T store and attempted to break into the safe in the office.

According to the sheriff’s office, the attempted burglary occurred at the store located at 812 Bloomingdale Avenue East.

The man entered the store through the broken glass and attempted to break into the safe.

When the man saw deputies arrive, he fled through the rear emergency door. 

The suspect is described as 6 feet tall and 160 lbs. 

He was last seen wearing a gray Nike hoodie, light blue Under Armor gym shorts, neon green socks and white and black Jordan shoes.
