Steven Tyler and the Loving Mary Band cancel Strawberry Festival show

Steven Tyler and the Loving Mary Band have canceled their show at the Florida Strawberry Festival, according to organizers for the event.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Steven Tyler and the Loving Mary Band will no longer be able to perform at the upcoming Strawberry Festival,” a band representative said, according to the post on the festival’s Facebook page. 

Fans who already bought tickets for the show can get a refund at their point of purchase. Those who used a credit card to purchase a ticket on the festival’s website can expect to see the refund on their account within three to five business days.

Those who bought the tickets with cash should visit the festival’s main ticket office, 2209 W. Oak Avenue in Plant City, to get a refund or call the ticket office by phone during business hours,  Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; or Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

 “The Festival’s entertainment committee is currently working to find a replacement for that show date,” the post on Facebook states.

The Florida Strawberry Festival is an 11-day community event celebrating the strawberry harvest of Eastern Hillsborough County. Each year, over 500,000 visitors enjoy the festival’s headline entertainment, youth livestock shows, exhibits of commerce and, of course, its strawberry shortcake.
