Search on for man who broke into home, forcefully took child

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who detectives believe broke into a home where his biological daughter was staying and forcefully removed her. Detectives say they could be headed out of state.

According to deputies Tawfik Dimion Hart,34, entered a home near Jackson Springs Road around 6 p.m. and took 8-year-old Janessa Carolyn Hart while shoving another subject out of the way. The sheriff’s office believes Hart also has a 10-month-old child in his custody. 

The children are not believed to be in any danger and there is no court ordered restrictions against Hart with regards to his children.

Hart is possibly fleeing to Tifton County, Georgia. Deputies say he is driving a 2008 white Cadillac Deville with a red roof, and a Georgia Tag RMV7486. He’s approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 194 pounds.

He faces one charge of Burglary with Battery and one charge of interference with child custody.
