TAMPA (WFLA) – A 1-year-old boy who was reported missing last week has been located and appears to be in good health. His mother is now in custody, authorities said.

Detectives at the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office began looking for Valyn Douglass-Bush last week after their Child Protective Investigations Division got a complaint about child neglect.

Detectives said they were also looking for Valyn’s mother, Aryn Douglass. She was wanted for felony petit theft.

On Wednesday, deputies said the toddler was located and is “happy and appears to be in good health.”

Aryn Douglass was found Wednesday night.

No other details have been released at this time.
