TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody and Hillsborough Sheriff Chad Chronister held a press conference on the dangers of fentanyl Monday morning.

During her press conference, Moody warned parents to check their kids’ Halloween candy for fentanyl that may appear similar to candy.

Meanwhile, Chronister warned that people who may use party drugs recreationally may be slipped fentanyl without knowing it. For example, someone who may want to do ecstasy may end up getting a pill laced with fentanyl to get them hooked on the product.

Moody and Chronister were joined by Families Against Fentanyl and The Blue Plaid Society.
