With just days to go before the Florida State Fair begins, the list of new food for fair goers to try has been released.
From the “buffaloaded” mac and cheese quesadilla to fried cookie dough, there’s something for everyone when the fair begins Feb. 7.

Bryan’s Concessions – Buffaloaded mac and cheese quesadilla
Check out this quesadilla loaded with shredded buffalo chicken and queso mac and cheese, topped with bacon and crushed up Doritos.

Angela’s Pizza – Giant mozzarella cheese stick
What’s a fair without fried food? In this case, it’s specifically a 1/4 lb. of mozzarella cheese, on a stick, deep fried until golden brown. It’s served with homemade marinara sauce or buttermilk ranch.

The Best Around – Red beans and rice funnel cake
This funnel cake is made by using spices, then red beans and rice are mixed in the batter to turn this cake savory fried golden brown. Then smoked sausage, onions, peppers and beans are added on top to bring it all together.

The Happy Dough – Gourmet cookie dough
Just like grandma used to make, but now it’s safe to eat. Offered to fair-goers are the two most popular flavors: Classic Chocolate Chip and Sparkly Sugar Cookie.

The deep fried cookie dough is a heavenly mix of a crispy, warm batter with a soft and gooey cookie dough center. Customers can choose from Classic Chocolate Chip, Birthday Cake or Peanut Butter Cookie Dough.

Lock and Dam Eatery – The Birds Nest
This dish is made up of two large scallops wrapped in angel hair, fried and topped with lobster cream sauce.

Lock and Dam Eatery – Italian nachos
These nachos are made of fried pita chips and topped with shrimp, tomatoes, banana peppers, chives and shrimp all finished with lobster cream sauce.

The Giddy Pig – Jalapeno popper grilled cheese
The Giddy Pig is serving a grilled cheese sandwich on Texas toast stuffed full with jalapenos, bacon and an assortment of cream cheese, provolone and cheddar cheese.

The Giddy Pig – Carmaelized onion and pulled pork BBQ sandwich
At the Giddy Pig, you can also order a pulled pork BBQ sandwich grilled with caramelized onions paired with freshly sliced cheddar cheese.

The Giddy Pig – Taco grilled cheese
This stop at the fair offers a Mexican-style grilled cheese with taco meat, salsa and shredded lettuce. It’s served with sour cream on the side as a dipping sauce.

Finally at The Giddy Pig, you can feast on this blend of mozzarella, provolone and Gouda that are colored to match the colors of a rainbow.

Carousel Foods – BBQ pork on pork rind nachos
Don’t fall off the low carb wagon with these pork rind nachos, made of pork rind topped with BBQ pork, shredded melted cheese, jalapeños and tomatoes.

Carousel Foods – Black cherry burger
This original idea consists of a fresh burger patty filled with cherries, basil, shallots, and garlic topped with Gouda cheese, two slices of bacon, and a cherry orange relish all on a toasted brioche bun.

Pizza Emporium – Cuban pizza
This Cuban-style pizza has a Dijonnaise base and is topped with a mozzarella/Swiss blend, roast pork, ham and pickles.

This stop at the fair hosts a variety of loaded potato bowls including the classic, green and spicy.
Classic – Seasoned potatoes, crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, herb sour cream

Spicy – Cajun potatoes, grilled chicken, bell peppers, spicy ranch dressing
