Firefighters battled massive flames and heavy smoke at a metal recycling facility in Tampa on Sunday morning.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue crews were called to the Trademark Metals Recycling Facility on Port Sutton Road just before 10 a.m.
Responding crews found a 25-foot pile of metal on fire in the metal yard. It took them about an hour and a half to get the flames under control.
Crews used an elevated attack of both foam and water to knock the flames down. A claw was then used to get to the hot spots that were in the pile.
Firefighters say they dealt with near-zero visibility at points due to rainy weather and heavy haze from the fire.
No one was injured in the fire. The cause is under investigation.
