Hillsborough sheriff’s detectives are looking for a man who robbed a bank in Brandon on Monday.
At about noon, deputies said a man wearing a wig with dreadlocks walked into the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union, 825 Brandon Blvd W., with a note demanding money. A bank employee complied and the man ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash. Deputies said he climbed a fence and was last seen heading southeast.
Authorities are describing the robber as a 5 feet 9 inches tall black male with a thin build. He is believed to be in his late 20s. When the robbery occurred, he was wearing a white t-shirt, orange safety vest, green cargo pants, black boots with distinctive gold detail, deputies said.
