Three suspects were arrested on Monday in connection to recent vandalism at Leto High School.

Alexander Valladares, 19, Yonjer Suarez, 18, and Kevin Narvaez, 18, are charged with burglary with damage over $1,000 and felony criminal mischief $1,000 or more.

Multiple racist and obscene comments were spray painted on the walls at the school. A large sign next to the football field was also defaced with explicit language.

The graffiti included things like “whites” and “blacks only” painted above drinking fountains. While some of the images were just crude and childish, it’s the racially-charged graffiti that has some parents worried.

The suspects were arrested at their homes.
