Her mother-in-law, and grandmother to three of Spillman-Ingram's children, said she is devastated.
"It’s been so rough for me and for my grandchildren. My heart is so torn. No child should have to go through that of losing their mother," said Yolanda Baker.
Spillman-Ingram was also a member of the Exciting Faith Alive Church in Tampa. Her pastor, Antonio Hawkins, said his last encounter with her was just a few months ago, when she came to church.
"I’m just grateful my last encounter with her were right here in this church and the last words I heard were, 'pastor I love you and thank you,'" Hawkins said.
