HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – One person is dead and another person was injured after a shooting during a home invasion and robbery in Hillsborough County.
A Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said the shooting happened in the area of 12966 Morris Bridge Road.
Deputies responded to a mobile home community off Morris Bridge Road around 7:30 a.m.
The deceased victim has been identified as Shannon Collins, also known as Shannon Caddo, 25, of Thonotosassa.
Investigators say they do not know if gunfire was exchanged between Collins and the injured person.
