Giant nose stolen from porch, family offering $6.27 reward for return

News

A Portland family is trying to figure out where their giant nose went.

The Albert family recently found a two-foot-tall, 50-pound plastic nose in a trash pile. They decided to bring it home and put it on their porch.

“We just thought it would be funny to bring home,” 11-year-old Sayre Albert told KGW. “It was just like one of us. They always say the average person has one nose, but we all had two noses.”

But last weekend, someone came and took the giant nose from their home.

Now the Albert children are hoping someone will see the sniffer and return it. They pooled their money together and are offering a $6.27 reward.

“We’re really hoping the person who stole it will give it back,” 7-year-old Dylan Albert said. “And we’re also hoping that someone who finds that person will talk to them and say, ‘Hey give that back to that person.'”

The children have even been out hanging signs in the neighborhood that read, “$6.27 for information resulting in the safe return of our nose.”

They add that there will be, “nose questions asked.”
