ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – A teenager fell from a skylight into the middle of a wrestling match at Buchholtz High School in Alachua County on Friday and the incident was caught on video.

A witness told First Coast News they didn’t know why the teens were on the roof of the high school.

The witness said the teen tried to get up, but couldn’t.

According to the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office, Brycyn White, 18, told deputies he and others were hanging out on campus when they made their way up to the roof of the gym.

While on the roof, the 19-year-old victim walked onto the sunroof.

The roof broke and he fell through to the gym floor.

The sheriff’s office said White and others ran from the scene.

White did return to the high school and was interviewed by deputies in the school office. He was placed under arrest for trespassing on school grounds.

Witness Sharyn Gonzalez provided video of the scene.

No further information was immediately released.
