Stolen Tiny Home In Manatee County

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office needs your help finding a stolen tiny house.

According to deputies, the custom designed home was stolen from a fenced in yard on 13th Avenue near the Team Sucess Charter School.

The prinicpal there tells News Channel 8 they had a few models stored on the lot, while being fixed up to help offer an afforable housing option for students in need.

Team Sucess is a 100 percent free and reduced lunch school

“A lot of our kids come to us with a lot of different needs, basic needs. We just try to help where ever we can,” said Fred Spence with Team Sucess Charter School.

The stolen tiny house is worth $50,000, but Spence says it could be worth much more to a family in need.

“Someone felt like this was an easy thing to do. They came and took it with no care of who it could help, or could have helped. They could care less about that,” he said.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the home is asked to call 941-747-3011
