Statewide career fair hiring Floridians, Puerto Rico evacuees for construction-industry jobs

Nineteen local workforce boards are hosting a statewide, construction-industry focused job fair on June 12 in cities and towns across Florida.

Companies are seeking to hiring Floridians and individuals displaced by Hurricane Maria.

Hiring companies offer paid, on-the-job training, so applicants of all experience levels are able to apply.

CareerSource Pinellas will hold a job fair on June 14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Petersburg College, located at 13805 58th St N in Clearwater.

CareerSource Pasco Hernando will hold a job fair on June 14 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 4440 Grand Boulevard in New Port Richey.

CareerSource Suncoast will hold their event on June 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Manatee Technical College, located at 6305 State Road 70 East in Bradenton.
