The employees of a Seminole County restaurant are doing everything they can to reunite a misplaced stuffed animal with its rightful owner.
A mother and daughter came into eat at the Dairy Queen on Hammock Road in Oviedo on Saturday, March 23, but they left the restaurant not realizing the stuffed dog they brought along was still at their table.
They came back looking for it, but employees couldn’t find it at the time.
Employees found the pink-eared pooch while they were cleaning up later that day and after that they started a Facebook campaign to get the dog back to its owner.
“I can’t wait to be reunited with my owner. The people at Dairy Queen have been so nice to me, but I just can’t wait to be back with my best friend,” one post said.
Monday’s post has the puppy with a new friend. Someone to keep it company until they can find the rightful owner.
“Your little puppy is in good hands and we’ll take care of her until you can come and we’ll get you some ice cream when you can,” another post said.
