Missing Child Alert still active for missing 14-year-old Florida boy

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has announced a previous report stating a 14-year-old boy out of north Florida had been found dead was incorrect.

According to the FDLE, the alert is still active. The FDLE says a deceased person was found but the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is currently working to positively identify the body.

According to FDLE, 14-year-old Sergio Domingo Diego, a white-Hispanic male, was last seen in the 1100 block of Oak Street in Jennings, Florida on Wednesday.

Diego is described as a white-hispanic male, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 120 pounds, with black
hair and brown eyes who was last seen wearing blue shorts, a brown shirt, and black and brown Nike shoes.
