TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket blasted off from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Thursday morning.

The 194-foot rocket lifted off Launch Complex 41 at 6:29 a.m., right on schedule.

The rocket is carrying the ballistic missile warning satellite, SBIRS GEO-6.
