GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WFLA) – On Sunday deputies with the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office say they were called to something that could only happen in Florida.
Deputies were called to Lake Forest Creek in Gainesville where they found a dead five-foot shark.
The sheriff’s office says the dead shark was dumped by someone in the creek. Florida Fish and Wildlife officers told MyCBS4 that officers decided to leave the dead shark in the creek.
The person who left the shark there couldn’t be found, so officers were unable to file any charges.
