Central Florida boy plays songs in driveway to lift spirits during pandemic

ST. CLOUD, Fla. (WESH) – While we don’t yet know when the COVID-19 pandemic will end, one Florida resident is working on cheering people up with music in the meantime.

Nine-year-old Daniel Class says one day he hopes to go on a world tour, but until then, you can find him playing in the driveway of his family’s home for free.

He says he learns a new song just about every day and wanted to share his talents with his neighbors in St. Cloud in hopes of cheering them up during tough times.

“Nobody stopped when I didn’t have that sign out. When I put that sign out, a lot of people stopped the first day,” Class said.

He’s been playing the piano for about two years and has been playing outside for about two weeks.

He says he’s committed to playing for others as often as he can.
