There’s a new Facebook page to help find Ajah Blackledge, the 18-year-old that has been missing for three weeks as of Monday.
I talked to her grandfather on Monday who says his family is desperate for answers.
“I can’t understand what happened,” Kenneth Blackledge said.
The family has been putting up fliers and sharing her story everywhere they can locally, but searching for his missing granddaughter is not familiar territory.
“The furthest thing from our mind, when we went over we kind of thought she may have been involved in an accident or something,” Blackledge said. “We haven’t found her car not a clue, no her. I keep saying this is as if she just fell off a cliff somewhere.”
The Blackledge family’s Facebook page that went live on Monday, and we spoke about their efforts to spread the local search into something more national for Ajah.
“Our movement is called Find Ajah,” Blackledge said. “Ajah come home.”
If you have any information on Ajah’s whereabouts, you can call Detective Drew Mims at 205-739-7274, or call 911.
