The infant daughter of a fallen Fort Bragg soldier got to meet the men her dad served with.

Spc. Christopher Harris was a husband, friend and soon-to-be father when he was killed in a suicide attack in Afghanistan in August.

A week before his death, his wife, Britt, told him he was going to be a father.

Since then, the members of the 2nd Battalion, 504th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82 Airborne Division, known as the “Devil Brigade” have helped Britt celebrate the Harris’ daughter – named Christian Michelle Harris.

The unit helped with the gender reveal and now they have come together again to for a photo shoot to celebrate Christian’s birth on March 17.

In the photos, Christian is wearing a onesie that reads “My Daddy, my hero.” The photos were taken by Pinehurst Photography at the Cape Fear Botanical Garden.

Chris Harris’ name was added to the 82nd Airborne Division’s Global War on Terror Memorial on Fort Bragg.
