CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) — Clearwater Police detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying a man with a prosthetic leg who stole a very large tractor trailer tire.
Surveillance images show the man rolling the huge tire from the parking lot of a Clearwater business.
Investigators say the theft occurred on May 26 at the Anytime Fitness, located at 1595 S.
Highland Ave.
The suspect cut the cable lock that secured the large tractor tire to a railing behind the gym. He then rolled it to his car and left.
He is described as a white male, 25 to 30 years old, weighing about 180 pounds and standing 5 feet 11 inches tall. He was wearing a red t-shirt and black shorts.
