They say lightning doesn’t strike twice, but for one Bay Area business man, thieves do.

Uncle Tucks Bounce Houses in Clearwater was hit by thieves who stole a trailer. 8 On Your Side first spoke to business owner, Chauncey Ward in 2017 when a mother-son duo stole some items from the company. It happened again just a few days ago when more thieves paid his business a visit.

This happened at the business on 1680 Tilley Avenue in Clearwater around 11:00 p.m. last week on June 12.
A pair of men can be seen in surveillance video tying up the trailer and driving off with what looks like a deflated bounce house in it.

Ward says this trailer is his business. It’s how he transports his bounce houses, water slides and landscaping equipment.

“It’s very frustrating. I work hard. I work 7 days a week, sun up to sun down and to have a trailer taken away from me, it’s very frustrating,” says Ward.

Ward is offering a reward to find the stolen trailer. If you have any information, call the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
