Michael Israel, a world-renowned artist famous for “speed painting”, comes to St. Petersburg to attempt his craft underwater for the first time ever.
Speed painting is an artistic technique where the painter has a limited time to finish the work and puts on a show while doing it.
The artist will dive into Admiral Farragut Academy pool with the scuba students and WFLA News Channel 8’s Lila Gross to create a masterpiece underwater.
Israel is working with Admiral Farragut Academy to raise awareness for the upcoming “Reach
for the Stars” fundraiser on Saturday, April 6, 2019, from 6:30-10:30 p.m.
