7-Eleven tests out beer delivery service in 18 cities, including Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – A beer run may soon be a thing of the past if you live in Tampa.

The city is one of 18 cities nationwide where you can order beer from 7-Eleven.

The chain has begun testing its new beer and cider delivery service through its 7Now app with a featured called “The Beer Necessities.”

Now people in Tampa can order “everything from traditional beers to craft beers and ciders.” This includes Dos Equis, Modelo, Corona, Coors Light, Bud Light, Heineken, Budweiser, Angry Orchard, Stella Artois, Dogfish Head, New Belgium Fat Tire Amber Ale, Brooklyn Defender, Miler Light, Michelob Ultra, Kona Big Wave Golden Ale, Blue Moon New Belgium Voodoo Ranger, and more.

Although plans are in the works for a broader launch, the service is limited to Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento, Phoenix, San Antonio, Dallas and Austin, Chicago, St. Louis, New York, Charlotte, NC, Norfolk-Portsmouth, Va., and Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando-Daytona, Tampa.
