ZILLAH, Wash. (WFLA/NBC) – Five students were hurt when an inflatable bounce house was tossed by a large gust of wind.
Witnesses said a big gust lifted up the inflatable attraction at least 20 feet off the ground.
It was thrown more than 240 feet, according to the Yakima-Herald Republic.
It happened at a student body event at a high school.
The high school released a statement, saying five students were injured, but the extent of their injuries was unknown at the time.
Video shows the bounce house had an open top.
It’s unclear if the inflatable was secured to the ground.
