Bangor Police released video captured by eyewitnesses John St. Germain and his girlfriend as they were in their car and noticed the blue school bus pass by them.

The two quickly realized that the driver looked a bit young, so they followed the bus and called the police.

In the video, the couple can be overheard telling police that the bus has hit a few signs and was driving on the curb.

“He’s, like, he’s all over the road, oh my…,” the girlfriend can be heard saying.

When the bus stopped at an intersection, police say St. Germain got out of the car, entered the bus and took control of the wheel. No one was hurt, and the 12-year-old was taken into custody.

Bangor Police honored St. Germain, saying on the department’s Facebook page he was “unassuming, yet willing to help at the risk of injury to himself.”WHAT OTHERS ARE CLICKING ON RIGHT NOW:
