(WFLA) – Schools in the Tampa Bay area are already planning to be closed Tuesday after Hurricane Irma hits our area.
Here are the current closures that have been announced so far:
- Hillsborough County schools – Closed Tuesday
- Pinellas County schools – Closed Tuesday
- Pasco County schools – Closed Tuesday
- Citrus County schools – Closed Tuesday
- Hernando County schools – Closed Tuesday
- Sarasota County schools – Closed Tuesday
- Hillsborough Community College – Closed Tuesday
- University of Tampa – Closed Tuesday, ONLY STAFF report Wednesday, classes resume Thursday
- Pasco-Hernando State College – Closed Tuesday
- University of South Florida – Closed Tuesday
