TAMPA, (WFLA) – The Friday Blitz featured students at Alonso High School taking part in the 8 On Your Side morning pep rally!
Each Friday morning, 8 On Your Side features one local high school in a pep rally with the football players, band members, dancers, cheerleaders and more.
This week, the Middleton High School Tigers took part ahead of their game Friday night against the Spoto High School Spartans.
The students also had a dance off thanks to music from 93.3 FLZ.
The radio station and talent helped get the students pumped up.
On Wednesday, the Middleton High School Athletic Department was granted a check for $500 from a Hooters in the Tampa Bay area.
