“This Is Us” fans, you better save up all your tears.
The hit family drama has been renewed for three more seasons, so there will be plenty of laughing and crying in store.
“We are all BEYOND excited to share the good news that we have been renewed for 3 MORE SEASONS!” Mandy Moore wrote in a message on Instagram, which included an extended trailer for the show. “Obviously that means we have a lot more laughing, crying, healing, growing and more to do together. None of this would be possible without your unwavering support from episode 1 and our entire TIU family is unbelievably grateful. So buckle up, we’re just getting started!!”
Stars Sterling K. Brown and Justin Harley also chimed in to celebrate the big news.
“Wow. THREE more seasons!!! #ThisIsUs,” Brown wrote on Instagram.
“We’re back! Incredible to see how far we’ve come in three seasons,” Hartley wrote on Twitter. “Excited to see what’s in store for the next three.”
The renewal is for 18 episodes per season. The show has already aired 54 episodes to date, therefore it’s set to pass the 100-episode milestone.
The show, which averages 13.8 million viewers per episode, was the highest-rated network prime-time drama in the key 18-to-49-year-old demographic, according to Entertainment Weekly.
