Florida Senior Games: How Game Changer, Leurene Hildenbrand, Motivates Others at 86

The Senior Games are inspiring to be a part of and inspiring to watch, and Humana hopes everyone in the Tampa Bay area will join in supporting these wonderful athletes. Healthy aging goes beyond physical fitness, which comes to life at the Games through activities that strengthen all aspects of wellness, including social, emotional and mental health.

Leurene Hildenbrand,86, is a Florida Senior Games Game Changer and she is sharing with us how she keeps others motivated. Hildenbrand started playing various sports, including table tennis, cycling, rollerblading and track & field, after she retired at age 55 and discovered that she was a natural. She has lived more than nine lives in her lifetime as a research scientist, cattle rancher, concert violinist, house and boat builder, aerobic teacher, philanthropist, wife, mother and now a competitive athlete. She competed in table tennis, pickleball, shuffleboard and track & field at the 2018 Florida Senior Games.
