TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Kitten season has officially started, however, that means the Humane Society of Tampa Bay needs your help. The shelter is currently overwhelmed with young kittens and need food or fosters to help take care of them.

You can donate food, such as pate for wet cat food or Purina Kitten Chow dry food, by dropping it off at the shelter or by mail. The shelter drop-off location is to the right of their front door at 3607 North Armenia Avenue. You can also use this address for mail donations.

If you would like to foster any of the kittens, email FosterCare@HumaneSocietyTampa.org. You will be provided with all the necessary foster tools, which include care kits, vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery and tips on bottle feeding.

For more information, contact the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
