Myrtle Beach Pelicans manager is ejected from game -- then freaks out

Posted: Updated:
ROANOKE, VA -

The Myrtle Beach Pelicans made headlines over the weekend... not because of their play on the field.. but because of what Manager Joe Mikulik did during a game against the Salem Red Sox.

It came down to a play at the plate and apparently Mikulik didn't agree with the call.

He makes sure to let the umpire know how he feels... and is tossed from the game.

But, it only starts getting worse – or better – depending on your viewpoint.

The manager starts off kicking dirt... no big deal..

Then slides into home.. not once.. .but twice... apparently trying to show the umpire how the actual play happened.

And then...it can't end it like that...

So why not take off your shoes and shirt and leave them at home plate... before stomping off and throwing a water bottle?

He was ejected from the game. And it's not the first time he's given spectators a little laugh on the way out.
