Kenneth Charles McPherson was located Saturday morning near Orlando. He was transported to a nearby hospital for observation and will be reunited with his family later today.

Authorities in Pasco County are asking for the public’s help in locating an elderly New Port Richey man.

A Silver Alert has been issued for 74-year-old Kenneth Charles McPherson who was last seen driving way from his residence on Friday afternoon. He has been diagnosed with dementia and is could be in danger.

According to a Pasco County Sheriff’s Office report McPherson stands 6’2’’ tall, weighs 140 pounds and has thinning gray hair. He was last seen at approximately 5:30 pm wearing dark colored shorts, a blue and black textured shirt and white tennis shoes.

McPherson was behind the wheel of a brown, four-door 2009 Chevrolet Impala with Florida tag – AVQ J62. If you have any information about the missing man’s whereabouts or have seen the vehicle please contact the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office at 1-800-706-2488.
