Overnight fire damages Hillsborough auto sales business

LUTZ, FL (WFLA) - An auto sales business in Lutz was damaged by fire early Saturday morning.

The blaze broke out just after midnight at 117 Dennison Ave., home of North Tampa Auto Sales.

According to a Hillsborough County Fire Rescue report heavy smoke and flames were emitting from the structure when crews arrived. Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to a warehouse as they prevented the flames from reaching two other businesses in the area – KitchenAlity and Walt’s Upholstery.

The business was vacant at the time of the fire and no firefighters were injured. The official cause of the fire is under investigation.
