ST. PETERSBURG, FL (WFLA) -

A St. Petersburg woman was arrested Sunday for giving false information to police about a suspect on the run after a fiery hit and run crash.

Brittany Donar, 25, of 4211 12th Ave. S. in St. Petersburg, has been charged with obstruction and being accessory after the fact, a St. Petersburg police report states. She was taken to the Pinellas County Jail for booking.

The charges stem from Donar's association with Marquice Lamonz Anderson, the St. Petersburg Police Department said. Anderson, 27, who is a wanted fugitive.

Police said Anderson was driving a car in the wrong direction early Thursday morning when it crashed into another one carrying three young women. The crash caused a fiery crash that claimed the lives of two women on the scene. The third woman died in the hospital Friday.

The police said Donar has not been forthcoming with investigators in their efforts to find Anderson

According to police, Donar, who has a relationship with Anderson, has provided false and misleading information, which has hindered their efforts to pinpoint Anderson's whereabouts.

Donar rented the 2012 Chrysler driven by Anderson at the time of the fatal hit and run accident.
