RALEIGH, N.C. -

 A Zebulon man faces charges of child abuse after he left three children in his car while he went shopping.

Raleigh police responded to a shopping center at 6216 Glenwood Ave. around 11:30 a.m. after a person removed three girls from a car.

The girls are ages 6, 5, and 10 months old, police said.

Police charged Terrance Antonio Ford, 28, with three counts of misdemeanor child abuse.

The children were not injured in the incident and given to a family member.

Ford posted a $2,000 secured bond and has a first court appearance Thursday at 2 p.m.
