RALEIGH, N.C. -

 A Wendell man was arrested for the shooting of a man Monday on Golden Brook Street outside Zebulon.

Labrian Antwan Lynch was arrested Tuesday and charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a felon, police said.

The Wake County Sheriff’s Office said it received a call reporting a shooting inside a residence at 7500 Golden Brook Street.

Robert Paul Case and Lynch were arguing inside the residence, the sheriff’s office said.

Case was shot during the argument, authorities said

He was transported to WakeMed with serious injuries.

Lynch fled the scene and Raleigh police located his vehicle at a Denny’s restaurant off Wake Forest Road, the sheriff’s office said.

Lynch was located  and arrested Tuesday morning at the Extended Stay of America near the Denny’s.
