Florida's gubernatorial race is tight, with Gov. Rick Scott and former Gov. Charlie Crist just a point apart in News Channel 8's latest poll.
Scott is up 42-41 over Crist, who led 44-40 in the previous poll two weeks ago. In the recent poll, 8 percent said they would vote for someone else and 8 percent were undecided.
Scott shows a significant lead with voters age 65 and up, 50-37. Crist leads with all other age groups (most notably with younger voters), according to the survey.
The margin of error for the poll, conducted by SurveyUSA for News Channel 8, is 4.3 percent.
