NEW TAMPA, FL (WFLA) -

People living in the Pebble Creek community of New Tampa were without water for several hours after a Bright House cable crew cut through a water line.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. on Pebble Creek Drive.

More than 7,600 people live in the area.

Pluris told Pebble Creek residents that water service should be restored soon, but won’t be back to normal.

Pluris wants residents to boil their water for the next two days, just to be on the safe side.
