Knowing the former president's enthusiasm for skydiving, the mayor of Zephyrhills hopes George H.W. Bush will come to the Sunshine State for his next milestone.

Gene Whitfield penned a letter to Bush, calling him "an inspiration to so many people around the world", and inviting him to come to Zephyrhills for his next birthday jump.

George H.W. Bush recently celebrated his 90th birthday with a tandem skydive.

Whitfield points out that his city is home to the "world's most famous drop zone, Skydive City", and invites Bush to bring his children, former President George W. Bush and former Florida governor Jeb Bush.

"We'll arrange so you can all jump together!" Whitfield writes.
