Hillsborough deputies seek missing Valrico teenager

VALRICO, FL (WFLA) - Authorities in Hillsborough County are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Valrico teenager.

Ashley Aubin Lyon, 16, was last seen at her residence on Water Lark Way at approximately 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

According to a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office report Ashley may be in the company of a 41-year-old registered sex offender. Steven Patrick Myers last known address is in Plant City the report states.

The missing teen has been diagnosed as being bi-polar and she did not take her medication with her.

Ashley stands 5’6’’ tall, weighs 175 pounds and has a large build. She has black hair – in a crew cut – and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black tank top, black gym shots and black ‘Van’ tennis shoes.

Myers and the missing girl may be traveling in a 1989 Ford Ranger pick-up truck with flames painted on the front and sides of the vehicle. The truck has a Florida tag – CSJ – M45. Investigators say they may be in southeastern Hillsborough County.

Myers’ sex offender designation was assessed following convictions out of Georgia on molestation and lewd and lascivious battery charges.
