VIDEO: PA girl struck by car survives

She says she is now afraid of cars. An 8-year-old girl was hit by a car after a police chase in Erie, PA, Friday, WICU reported.

Cassidy Wall was on her scooter on a sidewalk, her little sister Zmyiah, 5, walking right behind her. A car fleeing from police hit another vehicle parked nearby. The parked car smashed into Cassidy, sending her flying, WICU reported.

"I fell, and flew in the air, and I landed on my head," Cassidy told WICU.

The crash was captured on security video.

Cassidy got a concussion, Zmyiah got out just on time and suffered minor bumps and bruises. The girls' family were terrified after they learned what happened and watched the video"I was terrified. I still am terrified, Delorean Wall, the girl's dad told WICU. "As a father, you don't want that to happen to your children. It's crazy."


Police

charged two men in connection to this crash.
