TAMPA, FL (WFLA) -
A University of South Florida strength and conditioning coach Hans Straub was suspended indefinitely, Josh Newberg on bulls247.com reported.
According to Newberg, the suspension resulted from a Tweet Straub sent during the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft criticizing the choice of San Francisco 49s when they selected a former Bull Aaron Lynch.
"Thought an organization with 5 Super Bowl titles would have a stricter draft criteria. Clearly, integrity & character are not a priority." Straub said in his Twitter post.
Lynch was a projected first-round pick but fell to projected round five after a year at USF, according to Newberg's story.
As of 10 a.m. Tuesday, Straub was still listed as the strength and conditioning coach on the official USF Bulls website. The USF Athletics media personnel haven't returned WFLA's calls to confirm the suspension.
USF head coach Willie Taggart has connections to the Harbaugh coaching family, he played under Jack Harbaugh and worked closely with Jim and John.
