TAMPA, FL (WFLA) - Ronald McDonald Charities of Tampa Bay could get a big donation if a Tampa Bay couple wins a wedding contest.

Michael Flynn and fiancee Lynn Donini are finalists in a contest to win a million dollar wedding.

If Mike and Lynn get the most votes as a couple between May 6-9, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tampa Bay will receive $1 for each vote at brideslivewedding.brides.com.

Donini works at All Children's Hospital as a pediatric oncology/transplant nurse. She said they chose Ronald McDonald House as their contest beneficiary because she works with Ronald McDonald House families every day at the hospital. Donini says she sees the challenges they endure and the benefits they receive from staying at the House.

Her fiancee is also in the medical field. Flynn is a pharmacist at Walgreens.

"Lynn and I should win Brides Live Wedding because we are a loving couple who contribute to our communities through our work every day," he said.

Ronald McDonald Houses provide families with a place to stay instead of a hotel while their children are being treated at nearby hospitals.

RMH charities has three locations in the Tampa Bay area, three in St. Pete and one in Tampa.

To vote for Michael and Lynn visit brideslivewedding.brides.com.
